Our Kids Yoga Teacher Training blends play, mindfulness, movement, and science-backed child development strategies to equip you with the skills to lead safe, inclusive, and joy-filled classes for children aged 3–12.
Whether you're a yoga teacher, educator, parent or youth worker, this training offers creative tools, trauma-informed practices, and a heart-led approach to support children in feeling calm, confident, and connected—on and off the mat.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
This teacher training combines online self-paced learning with in-person experiential learning and exploration.

1. Foundations of Kids Yoga
Philosophy, child development, and the role of a kids yoga teacher.
2. Classroom Management & Communication
Effective tools, cues, and real-life scenarios for holding space with clarity and kindness.
3. Structuring a Kids Yoga Class
Lesson flow, timing, and sequencing for different age groups.
4. Age-Appropriate Language & Cues
How to adapt your language for toddlers, tweens, and everyone in between.
5. Asana for Kids
Key poses, safe variations, and playful ways to explore movement.
6. Breathwork & Mindfulness
Simple pranayama practices, mindful games, and self-regulation tools.
7. Creative Props, Music & Games
How to bring magic and meaning into your classes through creative elements.
8. Storytelling & Imaginative Play
Yoga adventures, narrative themes, and tapping into imagination.
9. Meditation & Relaxation for Children
Tools for stillness, body scans, and guided rest suitable for young minds.
10. Teaching Children with Additional Needs
Inclusive practices for neurodivergent children and those with physical or
developmental challenges.
11. Cultural Sensitivity & Diversity
Sharing yoga respectfully and acknowledging its roots.

Annie has been teaching children's yoga for over 12 years and has done extensive training including Advanced Children's YTT and Yoga Therapy and Special Needs training for children. Annie is passionate about empowering children to be the best that they can be. To feel strong in who they are and to have the tools to help them manage the ups and downs of life and know that they can have a healthy balance.

Founder of Zero Point Yoga, Bec has been developing and leading teacher training programs since 2020. With over 3000 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, and over 500 graduates through her programs, Bec has a way of teaching that makes the philosophy of Yoga, the details of physiology, and the life affirming practices easy to access. Bec's approach is to meet people where they are, and to make the teachings as accessible as possible. She's passionate about community and connecting humans to each other for the benefit of all.
