This training is a deep dive into the Art of Sequencing Yoga Asana. 

Designed to expand your knowledge and application of sequencing in an intelligent, thoughtful, and safe way.

Over the three days, we will be looking at the 'why' behind sequencing and provide technique and the building blocks to sequence in a way that makes sense and becomes easy and uncomplicated to create.

 What will be covered? 

  • Understanding the building blocks and different ways to create an intelligent sequence. 

  • Understanding the energetics of poses and the purpose behind the sequence. 

  • How to safely and intelligently sequence and teach advanced asana.

  • Sequencing toward a peak pose. 

  • Sequencing a mellow practice. 

  • Practice, break down and discuss sequences each day. 

  • Receive feedback on creating your own sequence. 

The training will be both practical and theory-based, with each morning beginning with a 90-minute practice. Excited to share my passion for sequencing asana and thousands of hours teaching and countless courses studied to refine this beautiful process.

Students need to have completed a 200hour teacher training.

Meet Ryan Mannix

Ryan Mannix is a meditation and yoga teacher based in on the Surf Coast of Victoria. 

He has been sharing his passion for teaching meditation and yoga both in Australia and abroad since 2013. Leading workshops, events, classes and teacher trainings. 

Ryan has always had a keen interest in movement and meditation. Before yoga he was a professional runner, representing Australia a number of times. After an injury that side-lined his running career, he began to practice yoga as a means of rehabilitation. He then went on to do his first teacher training in Bali and has since been sharing Yoga around the world.

Ryan has worked and collaborated with many different organisations to share the benefits of mindfulness, meditation and Yoga. He has worked with a number of AFL teams, The Australian Olympic team, the WSL surf league professionals, Swimming Australia, Tennis Australia, The National Gallery of Victoria, The LUME Melbourne, along with many corporate organisations around the world.

Ryan is an Australian ambassador for lululemon and through this collaboration, leads community events across Australia and Asia.

Ryan’s teaching stem from Buddhism and mindfulness meditation, along with having extensive training in non-dual meditation.

He has an online studio Its All Yoga, teaches weekly classes across Melbourne and the Surf Coast, leads teacher trainings and also has an established teacher mentoring program, ‘FLY’, which has had over 250 teachers come through the program since 2018.
