Congratulations on heeding the call and following your heart into your yoga journey. I am thrilled for you, and deeply humbled that you've chosen to let me guide you.
This course is a culmination of years of knowledge gathering, consolidating and nuturing, all tumbled together to create a cohesive and expansive introduction to yoga.
It is as much a learning experience for myself, as it is for you - an awakening of a deeper part of you, a part that has been yearning to be set free, and to be seen.
Journey with me on through a six-week program to introduce to you the fundamental concepts of yoga. Understand the basic shapes, the relationship with the breath, learn to move in and out of poses safely, acquire some basic Yoga terminology and feel confident in your yoga practice.
We will investigate the different way your body moves; forwards, backwards, left and right. We will explore the foundational standing series, we will explore the foundational seated series, and most importantly you'll explore your relationship with your own body and mind.
